Hives, hives, and more hives.

Poor Parker. Everything always happens to Parker. First he cuts his head open and is rushed by ambulance to the ER. Then he trips over Mike's foot, falls face first on the concrete, and loses his tooth. Then he splits his chin open at the Bowling Alley and gets to visit his friends at the ER once more. Just this past weekend he was stung by a bee. If it is going to happen to a kid, it is going to happen to Parker. He is only two and he has been rushed to the doctor/ER WAY more times than I have.

Tuesday after school he came home with a slight fever. Nothing severe, just a small fever and wasn't feeling so good. But that night it was gone and he was feeling better. Wednesday morning he woke up with a few hives. I wasn't sure what had given him hives, but later that day during Eden's doctors appointment, I showed the Doc and asked what it was. I told him that he had been running a slight fever the day before. He said it was probably a virus and the hives were caused by that. He asked if the hives appeared after the fever went away, and when I answered yes, he shook his head and confirmed that the hives were from that and they would last 4-7 days. He told me to give him Benadryl for discomfort, but otherwise not to worry and that they would be gone soon.
Well we woke up this morning to this:

It doesn't look NEARLY as bad in these pictures as it actually is. He is covered head to toe, even on his face. Poor little dude!
