Eden found the extra unfrosted cupcakes that were on a plate on the bottom shelf of the pantry!! I guess she liked them...LOL! I knew it was too quiet in here......

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

Remember when I said this? Well, it's here. My teeny tiny baby girl is one. I can't believe it!! Given that it was such a special day...and she is my last baby, I wanted to have a party and invite the people who are close to Eden! So I didn't necessarily invite *all* of my friends, just the ones who are close to her. It was a very special day for me and it was so fun having everyone here to celebrate with us. I had a light dinner, tons and tons of cupcakes and collages of her first year. I had a month by month, pictures of her little friends (all of who were at the party) at the hospital when she was born, and pictures of my boys with her as an infant. So hard to believe its been a year!!

Present time!! The girls are OBSESSED with Eden and follow her around everywhere she goes. They were so excited to "help" her open her presents!

Happy Birthday Jacob!!!

It's hard to believe that our "baby boy" is 6 years old! His birthday was yesterday and we had a great day. We let him pick wherever he wanted to go to dinner, and then we came home and had cake. He chose one of our favorites (and where we can be found most Saturday nights), La Hacienda. He requested "chocolate cake with chocolate icing, decorated like dirt with worms in it" (such a "boy" request!)......so that's exactly what he got. **recipe can be found here

Girls Night Out!!!

Well I was in Florida last week for a HUGE Girls Night Out. Friends from high school (there were almost 20 of us) came from far and wide.....Me in Dallas and girls from Colorado, Chicago, Germany, Atlanta, etc...it was awesome!! Of course, my camera was crunk that night so I only have a few pictures that have been sent to me...but here they are. We had SUCH a great time!!!

Well, I am doing 2 weeks worth of photos today and they are featuring the same subject....WALKING! Yes, our baby girl is walking. The reason I am dedicating 2 weeks worth of POTW's to it is b/c it was a 2 week process. She went from taking one, two then three steps....to walking in just a week and a half period. And it all happened when we were in Florida, so Mike missed it! It is sooo cute with her chubby arms flaling all over the place. I forgot how cute new walkers were!

So here they are, week 28 and 29. Here's to walking!
