The past couple weeks have been CRAZY busy with sports. This past week Jacob had 5 baseball practices and 5 baseball games. Yep, that's right! FIVE EACH! He filled in for a team tournament this weekend and it was SO MUCH FUN. He did great at 3rd base...especially considering he was playing with second and third graders! He went 14 for 16 (we think) and had some awesome plays in the field. They ended up winning the whole tournament...it was awesome!
Jacob and Coach T Wade after the big win!
The awesome Crush team. Side note - Jacob was given jersey #44 which was Mike's number in high school. We thought that was pretty cool!
This was taken about 5 minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot. A 3 game, 8 hour baseball day is a whipping!
It was such a fun weekend though...we lived, ate and breathed baseball. And we loved every minute of it. Can't wait for the next one!
The weekend before was awfully exciting as well. We had our soccer playoffs and our last basketball game. I didn't get any pictures from basketball, but we won our last game and the boys had a really awesome season!!
Our soccer playoff was AMAZING. We played a team that we were in no way supposed to beat. Supposedly the coach owns a major league soccer team in California and is very serious about soccer. They draft the best kids from all over Frisco and it is a supposed "select team".....and guess what? We beat them 4-3!! Jacob scored that 4th goal which ensured us the win and it was so exciting. Indoor soccer is different than outdoor because they can use the walls and there is no out of bounds...kind of like hockey. It is more aggressive than outdoor soccer and Jacob likes it much more (and so do we).
Here he is with his Championship trophy! GO FC Prosper!
With his buddies!
Now, I'm off to the doctor. I have had this awful "cold" (more like flu) since Friday. I sucked it up in the 30 degree weather this weekend at baseball, but its only getting worse. I stayed in bed ALL DAY yesterday and I planned on doing the same today, but I can't be away from the gym all week, I will just die! So its off to the doc I go to get some antibiotics and nip this little bug.
Oh, and here are a couple pics taken at my cousins rehearsal dinner. Fun, Fun!
